Fiorentina | 0-2 | AC Milan |
What's that football cliche about form being temporary and class permanent? Even his biggest fans would admit Kaka's return to AC Milan has not quite lived up to expectations - that was until he refound some of his old magic with two fine performances last week.
The 31-year-old had been linked with a move to the USA at the end of this season and perhaps spurred on by the suggestion he could be heading for the San Siro exit door, Kaka showed he still has plenty to offer.
Goal Italy's Simone Gambino said: "Another rebirth for the Brazilian champion, who had a great night on Saturday after marking his 300th AC Milan appearance with two goals in the 3-0 win over Chievo Verona.
"His second goal was amazing. He rolled back the years as he collected a loose ball on the left corner of the box before curling an effort beyond the stranded Agazzi and into the top corner.
"He was one of the best on the pitch even in 2-0 win over Fiorentina on Wednesday.
