WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos

Jimmy & Jey Uso look to carry on a family legacy at Elimination Chamber, but to do so, they must overcome the most experienced duo they’ve ever faced: the WWE Tag Team Champion New Age Outlaws.
For The Usos, capturing WWE’s tandem titles is very nearly a birthright. As The Headshrinkers, Jimmy & Jey’s father, Rikishi, held the World Tag Team Titles with his cousin Samu. Further up the Anoa'i family tree were the WWE Hall of Fame Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika, who captured the World Tag Team Championship on three separate occasions. The Usos came within a hair of capturing the WWE Tag Team Titles several times in 2013, most notably during a heart-pounding contest against the then-champion Shield on last year’s Money in the Bank Kickoff.
Now that the WWE Tag Team Titles sit around the waists of Attitude Era originals Billy Gunn & Road Dogg, The Usos have made their objective clear. While fighting Ryback & Curtis Axel on the Feb. 10 edition of Raw, Jimmy & Jey repeatedly gestured toward the champions, who were ringside as guest commentators. Days later on SmackDown, the twin brothers gained an even bigger psychological advantage when Jimmy pinned Road Dogg to win an Eight-Man Tag Team Match also involving Cody Rhodes & Goldust and the duo known as “Rybaxel.”
Though The Usos have youth on their side, they have a fraction of the experience of their opponents, who are six-time tag team champions. As Road Dogg himself has pointed out on commentary, he and Gunn used to war with Rikishi. Is it possible that the Outlaws’ strategy is too proven, too battle-tested, for The Usos to beat?
